Hidden treasures - from old inactive museum collections to modern scientific research - the case of larval frog diversity in the light of landscape and evolutionary traits

This webpage is part of the “hidden treasures” project funded by VolkswagenStiftung (AZ96 838, AZ96 838-1). The project aims to a better understanding of tadpole morphology. In addition to classic collection-based work, modern morphological, molecular, statistical and GIS methods are being used. The interdisciplinary research project especially makes available unused collections for scientific analysis.
